Embarrassing Story of Rejection
My next big crush occurred when I was 11 years old. He was 1 year older than me, but we had several classes together at school. Just like my previous crush, I flirted as hard as I possibly could. (LOL what was I thinking) He would flirt right back, so I thought that I actually had a chance. Now that I think about it, we were so cringy…he would chew on my hair while I giggled happily 😬 Anyways, the end of the school year was coming up, so I made the biggest mistake ever– I decided that I would confess. The teacher had asked him “What’s your favourite thing in the whole world?” And he said “money.” After hearing his answer, I was so inspired. On the last day of classes, I ran up to him with my 25 dollars and a bag of candy. 🤦🏻♀️ I confessed to him and he said “umm…ok.” We awkwardly stared at each other for a moment before he left. He then ran off and tried to ask my sister out. 😱 I will never confess to anyone ever again.
